With a distinguished career in hospitality, he began in 1995 at the San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, earning multiple awards and promotions over five years. In 2000, as Sales Manager at Hotel Normandie in San Juan, he was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing within a year, becoming the youngest in the market. His innovative strategies boosted the hotel’s ADR, occupancy, and RevPar to top levels within six months.
In 2004, as Senior Sales Manager for the Holiday Inn San Juan, he led pre-opening sales and staff hiring, later becoming Associate Director of Sales.
In 2006, he joined Embassy Suites and Hampton Inn in Orlando as Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management.
In 2011, he founded Azure, growing its portfolio across Florida, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Oklahoma, Honduras, and Malta. Today, Azure drives over $900 million in hotel development in the Orlando/Kissimmee area.
Mr. Gomez holds a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management from Lynn University. He has served as a task force for Azure on current properties that need operational review. He successfully managed each of our properties in the Midwest during the reorganization process, leading each property to higher occupancy, ADR, and RevPar.
